Vocals & Guitar

Joanne Clendining
Joanne is a vocalist and guitarist who’s been hooked on music since she was a kid - singing her way through school before hitting pause for a couple decades. But some things don’t stay quiet for long. In 2010, she jumped back in and founded Acoustic Soul, and hasn’t looked back since.
With a style that’s equal parts soulful and fun, Joanne brings energy, connection, and a little bit of “you didn’t know you needed this song tonight” to every performance. Whether it’s a laid-back crowd or a packed room, she knows how to read it - and turn it into a great night.
Off stage, you’ll find her in front of the camera shooting commercials or appearing on Maryland Farm & Harvest. She also helps others feel their best as a health an nutrition coach, guiding clients toward sustainable lifestyle changes.
Vocals & Bass

Rich Spence
Rich has been playing bass since he was 15, when he picked up his first instrument. His love of music goes back even further—he grew up singing along to songs on the radio, especially the Beatles.
By his mid-20s, Rich was performing regularly in working bands and has stayed active ever since. Over the years, he’s built a broad musical foundation, taking on a variety of styles to connect with different audiences.
He has performed alongside Joanne since her early days when she filled in with South 47, and began sitting in with Acoustic Soul about eight years ago. In addition to these collaborations, Rich also plays bass with the Bughunters.
Drums

Bud Manton
Bud is a self-taught drummer with more than 25 years of experience behind the kit—and still considers himself a student of the craft. Over the years, he has played a wide range of musical genres and performed throughout the tri-state area.
He has spent the past two decades as the drummer for the classic rock band The Bughunters, where he developed much of his musical foundation and style.
He currently also plays with Acoustic Soul and South 47, and considers himself fortunate to have shared the stage with some of the most talented musicians on the Delaware County circuit. He’s grateful for the knowledge, experience, and inspiration they’ve all contributed along the way.
Keyboards

Bob Kraemer
Robert “Bob” Kraemer is a lifelong New Jersey musician whose passion for music began at age five, playing nursery rhymes on his mother Rosalie’s piano. By eight, he was studying organ, and in high school he performed classic rock with the band Starfire on a Gibson G-101 Kalamazoo organ, the same model used by Ray Manzarek of The Doors. After graduating from Clearview High School in 1978, Bob briefly studied piano at Glassboro State College before earning a degree in Chemical Engineering from Widener University in 1984. He married his wife Donna shortly after and joined the family’s oil refinery maintenance business, continuing piano studies along the way. In 1993, he returned to the stage with Midlife Crisis, performing across South Jersey. After retiring in 2021, a chance meeting with musician Rich Spence brought him back to live performance.
